"They will not repair your Dial Gauge Torque Wrench if it was over torqued…." FACTORY REPLY BELOW Thank you Clint for your honest assessment and concern. The dial type torque wrench in question was reviewed and found that our factory weld was strong despite the significant over-torque of the torsion bar which led to this unfortunate diagnosis. Sadly, when the elastic limit of the torsion bar is exceeded, as a welded component, there is not a whole lot that can be safely brought back to factory specifications and a tool is unrepairable. We generally will offer you a chance to acquire a more fittingly sized wrench (larger capacity) to avoid this in the future with discount but I do not see that this offer was taken up. We are here to assist you should that need arise in the future. We are sorry for your experience, but in the extraordinarily rare case as described above we do have our limitations.
